A Google Gem is an AI Assistant that you can train to help you with specific tasks. Some assignments may request that you make an assistant. Using Google Gemini with your LAPU account will keep you safe and allow you to create at same time.

Navigate to https://gemini.google.com.
Click on Gems in the left sidebar.
Click on new Gem
Insert a title.
Give it a description so people understand what it's about.
Give it a prompt. Tell the assistant what it's supposed to do.
Add any documents or training data for your assistant. This is specific knowledge that can help your assistant answer questions.
Click save in the top-right.
To Share your Assistant

Click on the share button
Change the restricted dropdown to "Anyone with the Link"
Copy the link to share it in a forum or assignment text-input area.
Type in a user's email to share it as a viewer or editor, allowing them to make adjustments to your Gem or see how you set it up.
