As a Los Angeles Pacific University student, you have access to a number of resources designed to help you succeed in our online programs and beyond. LAPU offers the Career and Vocation Center to help students connect their education to a career, as well as access to the LAPU Library and the LAPU Bookstore. Students can also take advantage of a variety of academic support services, including 24/7 online tutoring and writing skills support.
Life at LAPU
Success Coaching and Academic Advising
You will be assigned a Success Coach who will serve as your key liaison at LAPU to help you succeed in your program. Your Success Coach will act as your academic advisor to develop a plan to complete your program. As an online student, you can always contact your Success Coach via phone or email to receive guidance on making academic choices in schedule and program requirements.
This is where you will go to access your student records such as grades, transcripts, schedules, and financial statements. Please note the password and user name are different than the ones used to log in to course.lapu.edu. If you have forgotten your user name and password please contact your Success Coach. Worship Experience
As part of your spiritual development, LAPU encourages students to engage in worship experience online. The Azusa Pacific student body produces Web-hosted chapel services at various times throughout the week on live simulcasts at www.apu.edu/live, and LAPU students may access this chapel program at their convenience.
Chapel programs exist to create a consistent rhythm of intentional worship experiences for students that encourage spiritual formation through creative arts, gifted speakers, and Christian practices.

As part of LAPU’s commitment to you and your academic achievement, we’re pleased to offer free online tutoring and writing skills support with Tutor.com. Expert tutors are on hand 24/7 (except holidays) to help you with assignments, concepts, exam preparation, writing, study skills, using technology, and career help. The service covers a wide range of subjects, including multiple areas of math, science, English, writing, and business. You will work one on one with your tutor in an online classroom on your specific homework problem until it’s done.

Libraries
LAPU students have online access to more than 140 online databases, including 46,000 electronic journals, 60,600 ebooks. They can also make use of a 24/7 reference service and online tutorial guides by logging in to the APU Library online databases through APU Library Resources page.
Additionally, LAPU students who live within 15 miles of the campus are able to check out hard copy versions of books using their LAPU ID# at any Circulation Desk at any one of the Azusa Pacific University’s libraries.
